I ordered 1200 strips that were compatible with my One Touch Ultra. Was very excited to have found an affordable option for glucose testing! When they arrived I decided to compare the test results against the manufacturer test strips. I double tested each day for a week, these strip were consistently 40 to 50 points higher than the manufacturer's test strips results. I am an RN and this has me very concerned as many people use a sliding scale and could possibly overdose with insulin using these higher results. I will be returning the 1150 unopened strips.

As an insulin pump patient, I need to test 6-7 times per day. the 12 pack is both affordable at Diabetic Corners price and convenient for my needs. The strips are accurate and delivery to my home was quick.

I used OneTouch test strips until Obamacare caused my insurance to wreak. Unistrips aren't quite as accurate as OneTouch but as the cost is less than barely six cents each it works very well for me. One downside is there are occasion wasted strips from malfunctions but not too often. Test results can run just a little higher but once you get used to this it shouldn't be a concern. The cost of Unistrips is a fraction so don't let that "Generic" label dissuade you from trying them.

I changed from the original One Touch Ultra test strip to the Unistrip Generic about a year ago. This is a very good product for the right price.

I tried using the Unit rip along with the Ultra, at the same time, using the same poke. The results never varied more than a point or two.

I tested these against the brand name strips and the 2 were always w/in about 5 points of each other. My insurance does not give me a break on strips so this is a great price.
