ATLANTA -- At Medtrade(R) 2005, Invacare Corporation (NYSE:IVC) is introducing 37 new and enhanced products and programs, once again demonstrating its commitment to innovation for the home medical equipment industry. The exhibit runs October 18-20 in Atlanta, Georgia, and is the largest home healthcare event in the industry. Invacare will be located in booth 1017.

The Rehab Products Group will unveil the latest technology in Invacare(R) MK Series Electronics, MK6i(TM). MK6i will include intelligent memory capability with advanced diagnostics. Also in rehab, Invacare will highlight the latest enhancements to the Invacare(R) TDX(TM) Total Driving Experience power wheelchair and the Pronto(R) Series of power wheelchairs.

Based on the success of the At'm Take Along Chair, a lightweight, portable power wheelchair that the company introduced at Medtrade(R) 2004, Invacare will introduce the At'm Quick Transport (Q.T.). The At'm Q.T. is the next evolution in portable mobility with an improved and quicker disassembly feature.
